Become a Volunteer at Genbrugsen Tordenskjold
Genbrugsen Tordenskjold sells clothing, household items, shoes, and similar goods that we have received from local residents, primarily from Trøjborg.
Would you like to be part of a dynamic environment where you collaborate with people from different backgrounds and help manage the sale of a wide variety of products?
Responsibilities at Genbrugsen Tordenskjold are delegated to several individuals, each responsible for their own tasks. Everyone at Genbrugsen is a volunteer.
Genbrugsen Tordenskjold is part of Aarhus Y’s Men Club Marselisborg. Through the funds we generate from the second-hand shop, we help create the foundation for supporting Christian initiatives for children, youth, and the elderly, as well as humanitarian work both locally, nationally, and internationally.
In other words, you will be contributing to making these efforts possible.
You will gain a broad social network and become part of a team of dedicated people.
You will have the opportunity to participate in several events throughout the year: study trips, staff meetings with shared meals or coffee gatherings. At these meetings, you can also share your opinions and thereby influence the future and operations of Genbrugsen.
As a volunteer, you receive a 20% discount on all items in the shop.
Before starting as a volunteer at Genbrugsen, you will receive an introduction to the work.
You will always work as part of a team consisting of three to four people.
There are always at least three people on duty, so you will never be alone in the shop.
Volunteer shifts last approximately three hours, once a week, Monday to Friday: from 11:00–14:00 or from 14:00–17:00.

We need volunteers almost every day, but currently we especially need volunteers on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00–14:00 and 14:00–17:00.
