Often times the forgotten furniture of a room, we at BENCH wanted to give foot stools the credit they deserve. They are there for us in the darkest of times - a place to rest our tired feet, an extra seat for grandma, a delicate table for tea. Whatever your use is for a BENCH (and there are many), we thought it was high time to giv

e foot stools the round of applause they deserve. BENCH was created in a tiny apartment in the Danish city of Aarhus. The cramped one-room apartment needed not only styled, hip pieces, but functionality to fit a life. It became a piece that was multifunctional for a variety of uses, as well as an accessory furniture that brought individual personality to a room. The power of these little BENCHes was an unexpected surprise. With variations in colors and styles, BENCH became a tool to communicate ones personal aesthetic and give a room the ability to tell more about the people that live there. BENCH gets a proud start with DOMINO, offering a variety of colors and patterns to tell your story. DOMINO is a modern take on classic design and comes in seven variations to celebrate the diversity of today's modern home. We are proud to collaborate with other design creatives to feature Limited Seats that showcase inspiring and innovative work we believe in. With all of our projects, BENCH promises to remember the forgotten pieces in a room and breathe new life into each of them.

It's been a while Facebook friends! Since we've been gone we have been busy at the design table. New leg colors in light maple and natural oak, as well as a new shade: Pretty in Pink. We feel pretty just looin' at it!

When we see an artist that we love we do everything we can to work with them. One of our favorite games, and one that you need an extra seat for, is dominos. The orginal BENCH collection was inspired by the simplicity of a domino with two buttons on each side and the friendly rectangular shape that gives one room to make themselves comfortable. The pin legs provide a sophisticated finish and act as an ode to mid-century lovin'. Woilah! Domino.
