We’re happy to announce our first art exhibition in the Szoba-stores with talented Anna Amalie Richelsen! Join us the 17th of November for cold drinks and DJ performance by , while supporting the rise of a young artist.

Anna is a visual artist from Göteborg Art Academy who works with a variety of textile techniques. Her works are a meditation of her perspective on todays society and the self within.

The exhibition “the sadness of summer is still present in the autumn” is about the loss of women rights when the US supreme court overturned the laws of abortion. This event triggered a deep sorrow in the artist on behalf of her own s*x and the existence of patriarchy in society.

The art works are a resultat of processing this opposition to equality and loosing the right of your own body.

Today most clothing are designed and measured distinguishing between two body types; male and female. We strive to curate pieces for everyone no matter size or gender which is why we never announce the given style’s origin.

At the same time we are told that this can be confusing regarding size, as a size Small shirt originally intended as men’s wear is not the same fit as a shirt (size small) intended for women. Therefore moving forward we’ll clarify the style’s origin to guide you better and enchance the experience of your purchase. We look forward seeing you rock the Szoba-styles 🖤
