Today I saw another Danish brand say their goodbyes.

When I started back in 2021, it felt like it was finally our time. Social media gave small brands a chance to build something from nothing, and for the first time it felt possible to compete with much bigger players.

I still believe that's true. More and more people will succeed because of it.

But lately I've been thinking about taking a break.

I have a part-time job, and the best thing about it is that when I leave, I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day. Sometimes I do, but I don't have to.
Being your own boss is different. It means carrying the responsibility all the time. There's always something that could be improved, planned, fixed, or created. You never really switch off mentally.

And after a while, that can be draining.

But the other day, I went straight from my other job to the studio and sat at my sewing machine for almost 10 hours. And I loved it.

I love creating. I love when you guys tell me how much you love your bags.
Last Friday, I was out and a guy stopped me at a bar and told me he knew my work. It meant the world to me.

So I'm still here.

And I mean it when I say that you guys are the best. Your support, your messages, your orders, and your kind words make it all worth it.

For the past three years, I have been fortunate to work with this black discarded material sourced here in Denmark. I love how it resembles leather strong and durable, just like the real thing.

The previous black material came from discarded truck covers, which I sourced from a company that carefully cut and cleaned the sheets. This process helped extend the life of the material long after it could no longer be used for trucks.

Now, I work with offcuts from a different company. This material is slightly thinner, but it has a sleek shine that I absolutely love.

Lyst butikslokale / showroom til leje på Jagtvej

Unikt og synligt lokale i gadeplan udlejes på Jagtvej. Lokalet har et stort vindue ud mod gaden, som giver masser af lys og gode eksponeringsmuligheder – perfekt til en lille butik, showroom eller fx smykkebutik.

-Loftshøjde: ca. 3 meter
-Beliggende i gadeplan med stort facadevindue

Lokalet er ideelt som “tiny shop” eller kreativt arbejdsrum med kundekontakt. Tidligere har to smykkedesignere delt lokalet, hvor de både havde værksted og butik med hver deres arbejdsbord.

For 5 years I’ve been saying:
“The clothes will come soon — I just need more time.”

The bags have carried my brand for too long.
In 2026, things will change.
I’ll be working on new creations, new materials — and taking more time to consult and collaborate with others.
This gives me the freedom to create without pressure, and to build something that feels truly meaningful.

A new chapter is coming 🖤

I’ve already made and sold more than 500 upcycled tarpaulin bags.
Each one is cut by hand from materials that would otherwise go to waste.

In total, that’s about 90 square meters of tarp —
the same as half a football field,
or the height of a 20-story building if you stacked it up.

Every bag tells a story of reuse, creativity, and change.
