My name is Alan Slim; I am an Englishman who has lived in Denmark for the past thirty years - I therefore speak fluent Danish, but my mother tongue is my passion and my profession. I have a degree in linguistics from Oxford University; I am a qualified teacher, and have taught English on all levels - for the past fifteen years; I have extensive experience in translating, proof reading, and coaching.

I work full-time as a teacher at a renowned language school, but sometimes a person does not need a conventional teaching course - perhaps it is a small issue, question or task - it could be as simple as one grammatical question - it could be a menu - it could be a shop sign - it could be a thesis - no job is too small or too much !
