Lagom doesn’t have to mean minimalism.

In our newly updated story, we look at what the Swedish idea of lagom can actually mean at home.

“Would you like a cup of coffee?”

In Scandinavia, a quick 10-minute errand often turns into a shared moment over coffee. It is a fundamental part of the lifestyle—an unwritten rule that connection and pausing, even briefly, always come first.

Laundry day, but make it beautiful.
A while back, I put together our Laundry Box because I liked the idea of bringing a little more joy into an ordinary everyday task: wool dryer balls, delicate laundry wash, and a beautiful storage jar — simple things that make a difference.
Scandinavian living is about small moments of pleasure in the routines we do every day. Link in bio.
The Laundry Box is still available in the shop while stock lasts.
Please note: currently not available in the USA (so sorry)

The words are not just about happiness itself, but the feeling of sharing coffee with a friend, spending time outdoors, finding contentment in having just enough, or creating a cozy atmosphere at home.
I've gathered 10 of my favorite Scandinavian words for joy in a new article on our site.

In Scandinavia, we often talk about the importance of everyday life. The ordinary moments like a quiet morning coffee or a desk that feels inspiring to sit at or the joy of a sat in chair.
When curating a Norlii Box, those are the moments I think about. The pieces are chosen to be used, enjoyed and lived with – season after season.
