A delivery in the middle of Copenhagen.
We deliver to the kerb — from there, the customer takes over.
One thing comes first: go through the delivery while it is still on the pallet. As long as everything is on the pallet, any transport damage can be documented and reported. Once the goods have left the pallet, no one can tell when the damage happened. Most deliveries arrive exactly as they should. Going through them is how you know.
And until the stone is installed, let it rest on something soft. Stand it upright, with foam or wood under it and between the stone and the wall — like in the last pictures. Natural stone is at its most vulnerable before it is laid. That goes for all stone — tiles as well as slabs.
