🎒 3 Ways to Prepare Your Child for Back to School

1. Get their sleep routine back on track 😴
Summer often means later nights and mornings. Gradually move bedtime and wake-up time closer to the school schedule so the first week isn’t such a shock.

2. Get their minds learning again 📚
Bring back a little structure with reading, spelling, mental maths, writing, puzzles, or reviewing work from the previous school year. It doesn’t need to feel like school — even 20–30 minutes a day can help them transition from holiday mode.

3. Prepare them emotionally, not just materially 💛
Talk about the new school year. Ask what they’re excited about, what they’re worried about, and what they hope will be different. Help them think through things like making friends, meeting a new teacher, handling difficult work, and asking for help.

And while you’re preparing the child, don’t forget the school bag! 🎒✏️
