Nothing recharges you quite like a holiday. ❤️

When you take a break, you start seeing the world differently — noticing colours, details and textures, and turning them into new ideas.

This year I visited Spain for the first time 🇪🇸 and unexpectedly felt a special connection with this country. It felt like I had come home.

The warm air, the sea and having my loved ones beside me made this holiday truly special. ❤️ And Spain also gave me new ideas for my creative work, which I’ll share and show you later.

I’m on holiday at the moment, so I’ve put my needlework aside for a while. No crafting, no embroidery — just relaxing, exploring and enjoying little discoveries. ❤️

Yesterday, I happened to visit a flea market… and, of course, I couldn’t leave without a couple of vintage treasures. 😊

🇮🇹 Italian Micro-Mosaic Brooch
This beautiful piece dates approximately from the late 19th to early 20th century. Micro-mosaics are made from incredibly tiny pieces of coloured glass, known as tesserae. The smaller the pieces, the more detailed and intricate the design. Italian micro-mosaic jewellery was also popular as a souvenir among travellers visiting Italy.

🇬🇧 English Coalport Porcelain Brooch
This delicate brooch dates approximately from the 1950s–1960s. Coalport is one of England’s historic porcelain makers, famous for its elegant decorative pieces. Porcelain jewellery often followed the same traditions as fine porcelain — delicate floral designs, hand decoration and beautiful attention to detail.

Two brooches, two countries, two completely different techniques — and two little stories that now continue with me. ✨

And the funny thing is… I wasn’t even looking for brooches. I simply happened to be at the flea market. ❤️

✨ Let me show you what I’ve been working on… although it’s not finished yet! 😊

These are my “buttons within buttons” — when one button becomes part of another, and a tiny detail turns into a whole story.

In two of the pieces, I used a special glass button featuring a rooster 🐓. The rooster is my birth-year animal and my personal symbol, so I really wanted it to appear in these works.

There are still many little details to finish and plenty of careful, patient work ahead. But I already love how the idea is coming together. ❤️

Sometimes a button is just a button.
And sometimes it becomes part of something deeply personal. ✨

💛 Since childhood, I have dreamed of doing charity work — helping people and making the world just a little kinder.

I am very happy that my colleague and friend Urve shares these values with me — helping, supporting and bringing joy to others.

Today, Eesti Nööbiklubi gives us the opportunity to make this dream come true. Yesterday, we held a very special workshop for young people with special needs.

The most precious part was seeing their smiles, their effort and the pride they felt in creating something with their own hands. 🥹❤️

I absolutely love making buttons. 🤍

Sometimes, all it takes is one quiet evening to create a whole little collection. But my favorite part is choosing the colors.

For some reason, I'm always drawn to soft, powdery shades. They feel so calm, delicate, and timeless. Every button has its own little personality, yet they all share the same gentle palette that I love so much.

I believe that's the beauty of handmade work—every tiny detail is created with care, patience, and love.❤️

🌍 Erasmus+ Job Shadowing Mobility in Lithuania – learning, collaboration and inspiration! 🇱🇹🇪🇪🇱🇻

From 28–30 June, I had the opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ Job Shadowing Mobility at the Baltic Summer School for Andragogues in Telšiai, Lithuania, together with the Estonian Non-Formal Adult Education Association.

Sometimes, all you need to find inspiration is to take a break, meet new people, have meaningful conversations, and step outside your comfort zone.

That's exactly what happened to me in Lithuania. I met so many wonderful people, enjoyed the beautiful nature, learned new things, and had time to truly relax. New ideas for my creative work and future international collaborations came naturally.

We were also lucky with the warm weather, and we stayed in a Catholic seminary, which made the experience even more unique and memorable.

For me, this journey was a real reset. It reminded me how important lifelong learning, cultural exchange, and international cooperation are—not only for professional development but also for personal growth.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience so inspiring. ❤️
