ARCANA SBS DNA60C – High-end side-by-side battery carrier with DNA60C chipset
Following the popular PIPELINE BOX, Arcana Mods and PIPELINE present their second battery carrier: the ARCANA SBS DNA60C .
In addition to the standard version, which offers an affordable entry into the high-end segment with the ARC1 chipset, we would like to introduce the ARCANA SBS DNA60C, a version for all enthusiasts.
DNA60C chipset – color display, replay & maximum precision
The Evolv DNA60C chipset used in the device is known worldwide for its high precision, efficiency, and reliability. Out of the box, our extensively customized firmware offers eight application profiles – including a separate boost mode and six specialized temperature profiles for the most common wire types. Furthermore, we've integrated the discharge curve of the popular 18650 "Murata VTC5A" battery into the battery management system to ensure the most realistic charge level indicator possible.
EScribe & maximum flexibility
To achieve maximum flexibility, the Arcana Mods team has integrated a USB-C port into the ARCANA SBS DNA60C, enabling the use of EScribe . The software provided by Evolv offers extremely comprehensive features: creating custom wire types, temperature profiles, or display interfaces, setting the discharge cutoff voltage, and much more.
Craftsmanship & Design
The body of the ARCANA SBS DNA60C is made of anodized aluminum, making it particularly resistant to scratches and perspiration. The front, top, and bottom plates, as well as the buttons and battery sleeve, are made of high-quality 304 stainless steel. The ARCANA SBS DNA60C features a strongly spring-loaded copper-beryllium positive terminal to ensure optimal conductivity.
Charging, battery sizes & repair service
The battery can be charged either with a charger or directly via the built-in USB-C port at a maximum of 1.2A. We recommend charging the batteries with an external charger. A discreet red LED next to the USB-C port illuminates when the battery is charging.
The 18650 battery sleeve included in the standard delivery is also optionally available in other size variants, thus enabling the use of 18500 batteries.
Even after the usual manufacturer's warranty has expired, we offer our customers our in-house repair service in Munich .
Unscrewing aid & screen protector
The ARCANA SBS DNA60C comes with two rubber rings that serve as a screw-on aid should an atomizer become stuck. For atomizers with a 23 mm diameter, one rubber ring is usually sufficient. For 22 mm atomizers, we recommend using both rings on top of each other to ensure adequate grip.
When slipping the rubber rings on, they need to be stretched slightly so they fit snugly around the atomizer. This is normal and improves the grip when unscrewing. Slide the rubber ring over the atomizer as far down the atomizer base as possible. Then, gently stretch the ring (or rings), grip it with your thumb and forefinger, and carefully unscrew the atomizer. The rubberized surface significantly improves adhesion without scratching the atomizer.
The ARCANA SBS DNA60C also comes with a screen protector that protects both the display and the stainless steel base plate. We recommend the protector even when using a sleeve, as it ensures a tighter fit and provides additional scratch protection.
Before applying the film, the stainless steel base plate should be thoroughly cleaned with isopropanol. Then, carefully and as precisely as possible position the protective film – the screw recesses in the base plate are particularly useful for orientation. When replacing the film, please completely remove any adhesive residue with isopropanol. The screen protectors are also optionally available in a pack of 5.

Which ARCANA SBS is right for me?
If you primarily v**e in Variable Wattage (VW) mode, we recommend the ARCANA SBS. If you prefer va**ng in Temperature Control (TC) mode, use different wire types, and want a color display and advanced settings, we recommend the ARCANA SBS DNA60C.
