AlQaramous, Egypt is where this papyrus paper and paintings are made from scratch, as in this village people still plant papyrus then harvest it on the right time every year, in order to cut then soak the plant to start the production of papyrus paper by arranging the plant stripes horizontally then in another row vertically to give a final product of two layered high quality papyrus paper like our ancient Egyptian ancestors did thousands of years ago.
