Hasnaa Eid… From Hospital Corridors to the World of Handmade Creations
A Journey of Passion That Became a Promising Arab Brand
Hasnaa Eid represents an inspiring example of an ambitious woman who successfully combined science, humanitarian work, and creative passion. She is from Mansoura, Egypt, and has a strong academic background in nursing, alongside a distinctive entrepreneurial experience in the world of handmade gifts.
Hasnaa holds a Technical Institute of Nursing diploma, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing. She is currently a PhD candidate in Medical-Surgical Nursing, while working full-time in a hospital, where she practices her professional and humanitarian role with dedication and commitment.
Despite her busy schedule balancing work, study, home responsibilities, and raising children, Hasnaa always had a deep passion for handmade crafts. She loved creating handmade pieces for herself and for those around her. However, fear of taking the step toward starting a business—especially since the accessories and handmade field is completely different from her academic and professional background—kept this passion on hold for years.
This phase lasted for nearly five years, until the COVID-19 lockdown became a turning point in her life. During two weeks of isolation, Hasnaa brought out all her materials, began inventing and designing new pieces, photographing her work, and finally created her own page. She also started connecting with traders and creators in the handmade community.
Soon, the first real orders began to arrive, marking the official launch of her project. With her positive spirit, Hasnaa considers that period the reason her talent finally came to light, saying with a smile:
“I should thank COVID for helping me step into the spotlight.”
Her work is not limited to one category. She offers everything she finds beautiful and meaningful, whether printed products, gold-plated accessories, or customized gifts designed according to each client’s taste and request. She strongly believes that a gift is not just an object, but rather effort, time, emotion, and thoughtful ex*****on aimed at bringing joy to others.
Today, Hasnaa’s brand products are exported to several Arab countries, reflecting the success of her journey and the trust of her clients. She continues to move steadily toward her ultimate goal: reaching global recognition.
