WHY DOES HONEY CRYSTALLIZE?
Ask any expert beekeeper, and they’ll tell you that honey crystallization is actually a good thing. Why? Because that means the honey is real and full of healthy antioxidants and beneficial enzymes. So don’t throw out your crystallized honey because it’s not contaminated and certainly it hasn’t gone bad. The crystallization process is natural and has little to no effect on the honey other than new textures, densities, and coloring.

Cooler temperatures, i.e., cold storage or refrigeration, will quickly crystallize honey and should be avoided.

Real Raw Honey Crystallize
The crystallization process is natural and spontaneous. Pure, raw and unheated honey has a natural tendency to crystallize over time with no effect on the honey other than color and texture.

FINDING REAL PURE HONEY.

Kuya Jun, our honey hunter, scaled on a coconut tree directly above a giant honey-bee nest. He waved a five foot-long bundle of smoking coconut leaves over the face of the comb to drive away the last of the adult bees. That is just one of the many steps on how to harvest a pure wild honey.

Over the years of his life as a mamuhagay he didn't mind the risk of this livelihood just to provide for his family. So, every bottle you purchase helps them sustain their needs.
