🌍 Premium and sustainability are no longer opposites, they are inseparable.

We’re proud that The Ocean Straw Group has been featured in the UK-based sustainability magazine myGreenPod in the article “Premium Circularity.”

The feature highlights how we transform residual wood from Nordic forestry into premium circular hospitality products used in restaurants, bars, hotels and premium venues around the world.

What started as a response to poor single-use alternatives in hospitality has grown into a global movement toward circular, high-performance materials designed for real service environments.

In Q3 2025, our Founder & CEO Mathias also led the expansion of The Ocean Straw Group into the Middle East, opening a new regional office in the United Arab Emirates to support the rapidly growing demand for sustainable premium hospitality solutions in the region.

The future of hospitality isn’t about choosing between premium experience and sustainability.

It’s about delivering both, at the same time.

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Norwegian Bartenders Association (Norsk Bartenderforening, NBF), an organization with a rich history since 1949, and a commitment to promoting and advancing the craft of bartending in Norway, has endorsed The Ocean Straw as the new standard for sustainable drinking straws. Together, we are taking a significant step toward creating a more sustainable future for the HoReCa industry.

Through this we aim to:
