The company initially deals with the bringing CULTURE of FOOD, Dresses and HANDICRAFTS of two countries, Spain and Pakistan, together by trading Olive oil, Olives’ Products, Mangoes, Dry-Fruits and Basmati Rice. With its partner companies and organisation, the company will, later on, be stretched out in other products/services and to other countries and continents. COPSE means ‘growth of small tre

es together’ and in Spanish the word is ‘Soto’. Following the epistemology of the word, COPSE SPAIN is a synthesis of Economic Development and Peace for a Peaceful world, the world without any kind of exploitation (human and resources alike). Capital is as important as the labour; however the key is whether the either of them breeds structural violence or develops a just and peaceful society. COPSE SPAIN seeks the latter. Managing Director, Graduated in Economics, and MSc History (Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan), MA Peace, Conflict and Development (University of Jaume-I, Spain and European Peace University, Austria), PhD History (The University of Warwick, UK). Has fourteen years of full-time and volunteering experience in the field of Human Rights and Development. Lives and looks after the business in Castellon de la plana, Spain. Mudassir Malik:
Director, completing the compulsory education, he has experience of running his garments business for eight years in Multan and Islamabad (Pakistan). Now, he also works for Shell. Lives, and looks after the business in Nottingham (UK). Malik Jawad Lang:
Director, a student, but has been managing ancestral agricultural land for last 8 years, and has experience of dealing with the agri-trade at local level. Lives in, and looks after the business in Multan (Pakistan).
