Tony Pike, a true Ibiza legend...mm

He arrived in 1978 after a 48-hour bender, found an old finca and decided to make it home.....

No electricity. No running water. No toilet.
So he stole electricity from the local generator, dug a toilet under a pomegranate tree, did the plumbing, electrics, plastering — even sewed the curtains.

Then invited the locals round for roast lamb to make friends....

Absolute Ibiza legend. 😂

On 15th September 1982, in Ibiza. 140 people experienced M**A for the very first time. 💊

The party was called REMEMBER — somewhat ironically, considering what was about to happen… 😂
For most, if not all, of the people there, it was their very first experience of M**A.

Strict guest list. No other drugs. Incredible posters by French artist ....and 140 people discovering that feeling together for the first time.

Just imagine the energy when everyone started coming up… 👀

Did it turn into an o**y? 👅 We’d quite like someone who was there to clear that one up!!!! 😂

The party went on all night and eventually spilled onto the beach the following day. 🌅⛱️

DJ Pippi came to Ibiza in 1979 — and felt like he'd come home🎧❤️

An unexpected set at Glory’s gave the island its first taste of Pippi behind the decks. Then, in 1984, Piti Urgell travelled to Germany with an offer that would change everything: come back to Ibiza and become a resident at Pacha.🍒

More than 40 years later, Pippi is still behind the decks — and firmly part of Ibiza music history.

Some love affairs really do last forever. ❤️

In the mid to late 70s, New Wave became the new sound on the dancefloor. This is an invitation for a New Wave party at Amnesia Ibiza from 1978, created by Yves Uro.

Yves was an incredible French artist, who created many posters for clubs in Ibiza, mainly for KU, but also for Amnesia and Glory's. He really had a style of his own, every poster was truly a piece of art.
