At Fernando Durán, we would like to thank all the collectors, consignors, and art enthusiasts who joined us throughout our Summer Auctions. It has been a season in which fine art, jewellery, and watches once again took centre stage, bringing together exceptional works that have now begun a new chapter in distinguished collections.
Among the highlights were the world auction records achieved by Dušan Džamonja’s Kovinska Skulptura 75-C and Costus’ La Fortaleza (Valle de los Caídos series). They were joined by important works including La carta by Luis Paret y Alcázar and Isabel II, mayor de edad by Vicente López Portaña, alongside Manolete’s personal Omega wristwatch, an exceptional nineteenth-century gold filigree rosary, and a distinguished selection of fine jewellery and collector’s timepieces.
We sincerely thank you for your trust and participation, which made this season such a success.
