About a month ago, our team, Canarian Fishing Event, Borja Barber, my brother Pablo, and I, along with the management of Puerto de Mogan, revived a special event that had been dormant for over 20 years. The Mogan Fishing Tournament was a staple in the local fishing tournaments circuit, and we thought it would be a good idea to bring it back.
50 boats from 4 of the 7 Canary Islands participated, with an amazing result:
12 blue marlins released,
4 Spearfish released,
5 Big Eye Tunas caught,
11 wahoos caught,
1 Amberjack and 6 Snappers caught.
Congratulations to the boats White Marlin 1, El Animal, and La Perla Blanca for winning the 3 categories.
I want to thank all participants, management, suppliers, and people who came to Puerto de Mogan to make this event happen. See you next year!
