A wee needle felted birdie in a fancy cup and saucer. I finished this a wee while ago - but im not very good at finding time to post! It serves no purpose, but looks pretty sitting on a sideboard! Needle felting is the perfect hobby to destress - repeatedly stabbing something with a needle can be quite cathartic 😂

I’ve not posted much lately — life has been a little bit hectic with school holidays, work and all the usual chaos! But I’ve still managed to steal a few wee pockets of time to be creative… because, quite honestly, I need it to keep me sane!

This is one of the things I’ve recently finished. A mixed-media picture using both wet and dry felting techniques. I absolutely love the texture and the 3D effect you can create with this medium. I'm so pleased with how it turned out because it captures the special relationship between my daughter and our dog Ziggy 🐾❤️ It’s based on a photograph I took of them at Barassie Beach in Ayrshire a few years ago.

A huge thank you to the very talented ladies at Cumnock Felt Making Group for sharing their knowledge, tips and wisdom on all things felting. I’m learning so much from you all ❤️

Yesterday's adventure was a wee family trip to We had a great time seeing all the ani.als and feeding the goats and donkeys. The highlight of the day was seeing Cammy from shearing Fiona the Sheep and her two beautiful lambs ❤️🐏

Life has been a little busy lately, so I haven't been posting as much as I'd like... but I've still been finding wee pockets of time to create. 🐑✨

This wet-felted collar, complete with long sheep locks, has been my latest project — and I think it might just be my favourite thing I've ever made! I absolutely loved every stage of bringing it to life.

Realised last night i never shared my purchases from It was a great event with a lovely atmosphere. I snapped up some goodies from a few of my favourites and a few new to me vendors. Not pictured is my copy of the Moorit magazine. Finally a crochet focused/Scottish based resource with some stunning patterns!

I'm not so sure Mr Ziggy is chuffed with my idea of a crochet collar bandana.... 😍😂 🐾

Finally finished my hexi cardigan after many months as a work in progress! It still needs blocking, but I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out 🥰
Made using a beautiful SW merino/nylon sparkle blend in a 4ply sock weight yarn, expertly hand-dyed by in the shade Dragon Scales ✨
