This wallet is cut, stitched, and assembled by hand. The edges have undergone a multi step process of edging, sanding, burnishing and polishing.

1200 stitches later.....

This bespoke 13mm powerlifting belt for a client was a pleasure to make. The final step remaining is fitting the lever buckle once it arrives. Once completed the client will have a belt to rely on for a lifetime of lifts.

Saddle stitching - the traditional technique of sewing leather goods together using 1 piece of thread, 2 saddlers needles and 1 diamond blade awl.

Using this technique each hole is first marked with a pricking iron then pierced with the awl before being stitched together with linen thread. The technique creates an overhand knot in each hole leading to a long lasting stitch.

Goods crafted with saddle stitching can be repaired in the event the thread is worn through over years of use, something that is not possible with machine stitched goods.

Our goal is to provide a item that will be with you for a long time to come, emphasizing our focus on using traditional craft to over come today's trend of consumerism and fast fashion.
