People think I work with colour.
In reality, I work with uncertainty.
There is no colour chart for building a company.
On an ordinary day, I may move from discussing the chemistry of a decorative finish to solving a delivery problem, improving an online store, advising a customer and checking a shipment from Italy.
I am the co-founder and CEO of Paint Finland Oy.
I am a mother of two.
Alongside all of this, I completed my master’s thesis.
Some days, I feel like a CEO.
On others, I am customer service, marketing, logistics, IT support and warehouse staff, often during the same afternoon.
That is the part of entrepreneurship people rarely see.
They see the showroom.
The finished project.
The beautiful surface.
They rarely see the hundreds of small decisions underneath it, many made before you feel ready and with no guarantee they will work.
Working with decorative surfaces has taught me something that applies far beyond walls. Anything lasting is built layer by layer, a company, a career, confidence, a life.
