Welcome to my gallery in Såka!

Konstrundan is an open studio event held annually throughout Finland during the first weekend in September, this Saturday and Sunday 5-6 September from 11 am to 5 pm.
Over the course of a weekend, professional artists, craftsmen and designers open their studios to the public. Approximately 430 artists, craftsmen, designers and artists in residence participate in the event.

I am having an open house at my photo gallery Birtz Art Gallery in Såka/ Kokkola. There are many photos hanging here. I am happy to talk about my photos and books, as well as exciting anecdotes about the actual photo moment.
Also offering tips on photography. Guided tours are in Swedish, Finnish, English and Kokkola dialect!
The coffee pot is hot all the time!

Welcome to the opening in Jakobstad Library on Tuesday 11.2 at 18.00-19.00.
Gun-Marie Wiis and I have a photo exhibition called; Bland träden / Puiden keskellä.

Gun-Marie has photos taken with a drone and I, who am afraid of heights, only have photos from the ground :-)

The exhibition will remain open for public viewing until 27.5

Nu kan man också anmäla sig till naturfoto online kursen som jag drar via vuxeninstitutet i Korsholm. (vuxeninstitutet.korsholm.fi)

Låt dig inspireras till att gå ut och fotografera ensam i din närmiljö. Du får fotouppgifter enligt tema och har knapp en vecka på dig att fotografera. Gruppdiskussioner kring fotografierna sker online via videokonferens programmet Zoom. Där läggs fotografier upp och kommenteras av läraren. Under första kurstillfället genomgås kamerans inställningar m.m. Under kurskvällarna förbereds även följande veckas tema uppgift.

Går att deltaga från hela världen, enda som behövs är kunskap i svenska.

- För både nybörjare och lite längre hunna.
- Massor av inspiration samt fototips.
- Utrustning; systemkamera eller pocketkamera. (t.o.m. mobiltel.)
- Det är alltid "gårr" trevligt på mina kurser.

Vuorilampi är en 25 meters djup bergssjön med 18 meter höga bergsväggar som sträcker sig runt halva sjön!
