After five or so years of empty silence I was about to delete the “Ensimmäinen kultti” page today. But then again… creating on my part has never stopped (though it has taken many turns and shapes) and I am proud of my creations after all. So I took another route and decided to tread these dead wastes of the internet once more in an attempt to share my works to distant souls or to whatever bots might roam this wasteland (feels very Ligotti).

New page name is Tornimaa - TowerArtEgg of Roope Sillanpää.

After many years the concept of the “Tower”, a central subject and theme in many of my earlier works, has again emerged into my mind’s conceptual canvas. To compliment this ever-looming figure of the “Tower” there are also other important ones like “labyrinth”, “the frog”, “the mask”, “the table” and other inventorial nonsense. But I guess the “EGG” is the most prominent one. So I decided to rename the page accordingly. Muddy soil with pieces of eggs and towers sticking out.

The following oil painting is from a couple years back (finished 2024 I think) titled “Attilan Tähdet” (Stars of Attila) and depicts sardonic hell stars and an overflowing Egg Cup holding a Secret Egg of the Black Bleeding Thunder.

This painting was also used as the cover for my recently published book “Attilan koira ja muita outoja kertomuksia” (published by Abraxas Publishing & Antiquarian). The painting links intimately with the titular story.

Being the proprietor of a printing firm he assisted other occultists in their publication endeavors also issuing their work under his New World and Longship Warrior imprints.

ND [ca. 1989 / 1990]. Doncaster: South Yorkshire: Longship Warrior (Privately Published). First Edition. Softcover. Quarto. 56 pages. Printed wrappers. Color and b&w illustrations. Condition: Previous owner's name on front page; minor stains on the back cover; otherwise a clean, VG copy.

The first and only issue of this anonymous book / journal, published in England ca. 1989 / 1990. The work is Thelemically inclined and it includes the text of Liber OZ, excerpts from "Magick in Theory and Practice" and a number of essays including a lengthy article on "The Mark of the Beast." Also poems, beautiful color and b&w illustrations, editorial and advertisements. Gareth Hewitson-May (author of the subsequently published "Dark Doorway of the Beast") is generally said to have been the editor / author / compiler / publisher of the project.
