Hi everybody here, Sebastian from Videokaffe posting. I am happy to tell you that I have been involved over the last half year in this wonderful Home Art Residency in ROME, “Villa Emera”. www.villaemera.com
If you are interested in coming to Rome and living like the Romans do. This is a great place to network and find a good work environment. My partner Riikka and I are also involved in a large, well-located art project space near Piazza Vittoria Emanuele, just 5 minutes away from the Termini Train Station. The artist's career has often been described as an adventure. This voyage is often filled with exploration and hidden monsters real and imagined.
Perhaps one of the biggest obstacles in deciding whether to go on an adventure is the fear of the unknown,
and the likelihood of encountering a monster along your path. We will be exploring the tall tales of the inner deep sea while on the journey of life.
Videokaffe is creating maps drawings, illustrations, artifacts, and performances during their stay. The public is welcome to participate and join this conversation.�

Videokaffe is a collaborative network of 10 artists members in various locations between North America and Europe.
They work across a range of disciplines including sculpture, video, performance, and new media artwork.
In the Exhibition at MOM Art Space, they will present artifacts of recent endeavors and results of cross-over work.

Videokaffe is a collaborative network of 10 artists based in different locations across North America and Europe. They work at the intersection of handcraft and technology through public sculptures, exhibitions, residencies, performances and new media artwork. The artists strive to discover the connection between the digital and analog realms by showcasing audiovisual presentations and kinetic sculptures.
