Post Fiji CEO Dr. Anirudha Bansod re-assures the people of Fiji that despite the set-back caused by the Australian logistics company that owes Post Fiji $9.6milllion, Post Fiji has not deterred it’s objectives of ensuring excellent service delivery to the people of Fiji. Dr Bansod added that the delayed payment is dated back to 2014 to 2016 for the remailing services conducted by the Australian company. He further added that this will not hinder our company’s growth as Post Fiji has transitioned to become a profit generating company. This was evident when the new government vetted and approved Post Fiji’s 2020-2021 staff performance bonus payout that was conducted this year. Dr. Bansod added that the staff and management of Post Fiji have been working hard to meet the expectations of Fijians in all areas of our business and this enabled the company to maintain all its staffs during the Covid 19 pandemic without reducing any working hours. Post Fiji is confident that the delayed payment from the Australian company is not a threat for Post Fiji to become insolvent.
