Mirror compo of the High Priestess card. Both wildflowers overwatch green and yellow fields.

This one helped me work on keeping things simple while working on coherence when creating duos. Also let go of clean lines for wild and organic ones.

Ø - The Fool

Okay let's start to show this project I've been blabbing about.
I've been struggling with what looks like an undiagnosed ADHD for as long as I can remember and staying focused on a project without deadlines or timeframes is a nightmare.

So when I heard I was exhibiting my art at , Naturally my creative process was on fire.

I had been thinking about Tarot cards for a long time now and while the spiritual side of it is not something I believe in (without any judgement) I loved the framework of having defined symbols, names and significations.

I wanted to challenge my self and create a series themed around the subject of flowers and while doing that, explore the visual side of linocuts. The really raw side of the medium VS the softness of flowers and the imagery around them.

This one in particular, - The Fool - was a reflection on who I wanted to be. Someone constantly looking up at the bright side while aware of the darkness behind and also trying to brighten people's life. And sometimes the energy you put on trying to make everyone's life brighter, including yours, can seem like an illusion, lie I keep telling myself or blind hope. But I do not mind being the fool of the story.

Also I sell these at Ko'work'art Shop (70 rue des jacobins, Amiens, France) for now but I'll put everything I have soon on Etsy or some platform online, if interested in supporting a small artist, send me a DM 😊
