A solid vintage travertine table, perfect as as a generous sized side table next to the sofa, or as a smaller coffee table. In perfect vintage condition! A great neutral colour to then jazz up with colourful accessories if wanted 🙌🏼

Full of character and history, this antique pedestal table really elevates a space. It’s the perfect way to display some flowers or a sculpture and gives that sophisticated gallery look 📚

Love the form of this low oak chair in the style of French designer Charles Dudouyt. It’s so sculptural and even the two tone rush seat adds so much interest.

Swipe for some interior inspo! I’ve also seen these look great in bathrooms, hallways or children’s rooms

Sold this week but it deserved a spot on the ‘gram!

A beautiful wooden side table, just look at that dovetail joinery 😍 a hallmark of high quality craftsmanship!

I believe this may be going into a Paul Smith shop which is cool as my husband got his wedding suit from there! Their interiors are classy and warm with lots of vintage and antique👌🏼

If you’d like me to source you anything similar, please message 😊

An excellent vintage side table sourced in France recently. Beautifully aged without actual imperfections, the kind of thing that’s hard to replicate on new pieces 😍 tap the photo for more details and to shop

I went to my local auction house to preview this month’s Mid-Century Design sale, filled with incredible vintage art and furniture.

Mid-century design remains popular for its clean lines, timeless craftsmanship, and the way it blends function with warmth and character. I wouldn’t mind decorating a whole room in this design style!

Let me know in the comments or DM if there’s anything you liked or are interested in. All the chairs I tried were super comfy! And there’s lots of really unique art and posters.

Vintage French oyster plates available. I love the dark green 😍

I have four which are for sale individually. They make very pretty wall plates if you wanted to add an adhesive wall plate sticker, or are of course great to use as tableware

If you love unique pieces that have survived for years, you are in the right place! My favourite thing about vintage and antique decor is that you won’t find the same pieces all over Instagram, and so it makes your home that little bit more “you”. All items are on the website at very affordable prices, so go check it out! 🪑

I love the texture and chunkiness of this vintage wooden stool sourced in France. Available on the website now!

A snippet of Northern France’s second largest antiques market. This market is located in the city of Amiens, just over 90 minutes from Calais. Twice yearly, on a Sunday in April and October, 50 of the city’s streets get blocked off from traffic and out come all the vintage and antiques.

It was my first time at this market, and only my second time at a French market, so I am a total rookie!

The weather was great, so that certainly helped with the enjoyment.

Is it worth the trip? If you love French antiques, then yes. There’s a lot of countryside/rustic decor and an abundance of rustic pots. That being said I do think you can find a lot of this stuff at UK markets too, as many traders have special connections in France and bring in hauls from estates. In my opinion the prices are on par, if not even a little better in the UK. It may be that I’m obviously giving off tourist vibes… 😂💸

It was an amazing experience. I had so much fun and I’m so glad my husband came with me! He’s not the type to be interested in an antique shop, let alone dragged around a market for 12 hours 😂 but even he enjoyed himself! So a shoutout to him despite having a poorly back 😬💛

All in all I would say if you don’t have the means to go, then I don’t think you are missing out on anything if you can go to some UK markets. But if you do go, you’ll love the experience and making memories with family/friends ☺️❤️ plus cheap food, wine and beer, what’s not to love… 😏
