Another great week on the French Riviera at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026!📍

It’s been a great few days connecting with yacht builders, shipyards, partners and industry professionals to discuss what is shaping today’s yachting projects, from compact installation and onboard comfort to reliable power and performance.

Can backup generators keep pace with AI workloads?

Rapid, synchronised GPU load variations are creating new challenges for data centre backup power.

At DatacenterDynamics Connect London 2026, Richard Flynn, Data Centre Business Development at Baudouin, will explore what this means for generator response, frequency and voltage stability, and repeated transient conditions, drawing on full-scale testing of a 2.4 MW backup generator.

As AI infrastructure scales, both dynamic performance and capacity matter with Baudouin’s M61 platform delivering up to 6250 kVA per generator set.

We will be at DatacenterDynamics Connect London 2026 on 16–17 September.

Our team will present Baudouin’s high-power generator set solutions for mission-critical and AI infrastructure, including the M33, M55 and M61 platforms.

At the upper end of the range, the M61 delivers up to 6250 kVA per generator set.

At Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, we’ll be showcasing solutions developed around the specific requirements of the yachting market, from compact integration and low noise to higher power needs.

Among the highlights:
• 4M11 marine genset – delivering 100 kW in a compact design, with a low noise level of 76 dBA, completing the 4M05 in our silent genset range
• 16M23 – a new engine platform extending our offering for larger yachts and higher power requirements

Together, these solutions illustrate how we continue to expand our yachting range across different vessel sizes and applications.

A new hybrid marine project powered by Baudouin. ⚓

The Sikania II Hybrid passenger Ro-Ro vessel is equipped with four Baudouin 12M26.3 SCR propulsion engines, each delivering 1,002 kW / 1,370 HP, and a Baudouin GEB 6W126S marine genset.

The hybrid system enables electric propulsion below 6 knots during harbour manoeuvres, helping reduce local emissions and noise while maintaining reliable heavy-duty performance at sea.

Delivered with Xanthis S.A. and C.T.E. Perdikaris Engineering, this project highlights Baudouin’s ability to support advanced hybrid vessel architectures with complete propulsion and onboard power solutions.

Designed for professional marine operations, the 6M21.3 SCR marine engine combines power, durability and dependable performance in demanding environments.

This inline six-cylinder engine delivers between 368 and 441 kW, making it suitable for a broad range of applications at sea and on inland waterways.

Equipped with an SCR aftertreatment system, the 6M21.3 meets IMO Tier III emission requirements. It is also compatible with HVO fuel and compliant with AUS 32 & 40, helping operators reduce their environmental impact without compromising operational efficiency.
