Welcome to Group 1’s Artisan Design Team hop with our projects using Neutral Noel suite for .
I chose two different styles for my projects this month.
Project 1⃣: a tall card—21 cm!—in a style I hope comes across as modern.
📌By cutting the card in half widthwise—with one side made of designer paper and the other embossed with an embossing folder—we give the card an even greater sense of height
📌For the letters, I mixed different patterned papers, except for the “O.” It’s cut from Pecan Pie paper, then stamped with a tone-on-tone foliage stamp, shaded with a blending brush, and finally, to give it a snowy look, I also added splotches of white craft paper. It’s a lot for a single letter, but it makes all the difference!
📌Embellishments are my weakness, and these gold self-adhesive polka dots are truly gorgeous—I love them—but I’m not exactly objective—
Project 2⃣: A Square Card, with a More “Vintage” Look
📌I ran my square through a embossing folder, then added Craft ink with a brush to give it a distressed look.
📌To create the grid effect on the top square, just play around with the jute twine to separate the different strands, then glue them onto the card background.
📌To create my wreath, I took a sheet of white paper and applied Soft Soam and Mossy Meadow ink, leaving the center of the paper lighter. Then I cut out my wreath AND saved the center to add to my card. The effect is awesome, isn’t it?
That’s it for the details of my projects
