I'm sat in the C***r Barn Brocante cleaning and mending chandeliers, and this is my view of the courtyard and house today. Looking lovely and mellow in the Autumn sunshine, a beautiful day to be alive. My commute isn't bad either!

Come to the foire des Andaines this October 3rd and 4th, browse 5km of antique and vintage stalls along the beautiful forest road, and on Saturday afternoon why not visit the C***r Barn Brocante just 20 minutes away, open to the public from 2pm and also available Sunday afternoon by appointment for trade and private clients.

Simple golden oak dresser just arrived at the C***r Barn Brocante.
Come and visit this weekend and see all the lovely fresh furniture stock that's arrived this week. We are busy rearranging so that you can get through the door, open as usual from 2pm Saturday.
Our country brocante is near Lassay les Chateaux, only 20 minutes from Domfront and Bagnoles.

Spending a couple of days rearranging the brocante and finding homes for the fresh pieces like this superb glass front cupboard, I am using it for linens but it would make an excellent bookcase or china cupbard too.

Two nice sized stripped pine chests of drawers just arrived at the C***r Barn Brocante, amid a plethora of fresh stock of furniture pieces, dressers and linen cupboards, armoires and shelves.

Here's my absolute favourite treasure from this weekend's fairs and markets, an agricultural foundry plaque from Vitré, made in cast iron and with superb patina from decades of being proudly displayed on the gate of the building.
