Thirty years ago tonight I played the final show of the1996 Styx tour at the Rosemont Horizon in the Chicago area. It was recorded and filmed for the double live record and DVD (and VHS if you can believe that, as it was that long ago!) I truly believed that when I said goodbye to everyone in the band and crew that night ending my first ever Styx tour that I would never see any of these people again. It will always be amazing to me that one summer fling turned into a thirty year run that continues to run with speed and power. My voluminous thanks and gratitude to all that have been part of this incredible experience over these last three decades! As well, thanks to the folks who continue to turn up and support the endeavor because it wouldn’t happen without you.
