Here is the best picture I could find of the F-111 spike vents (thanks Nathan Bradford for giving me the right name!):
As you can see the openings do not go all the way to the aft (right on the picture) corner, and the most forward opening is much narrower than the rest.

F-111 exhausts - chapter 2 (open version - on the right) :)
Allows to build an Aardvark on the group (similar to the F-14A nozzles where starboard engine shuts down last and there is not enough hydraulic pressure left in the system to close its nozzle)
Will be available very shortly for Academy and HB kits, I just need to update the product page :D

Following yesterday's announcement on the upgraded F-111 Triple Plow II seamless intakes design I got requests to keep both designs available (with closed or open blow-in doors). This is now done and implemented on the website ;)

A friend recently told me Triple Plow II intakes have their blow-in doors almost always open. Of course after checking numerous pictures I saw he was totally right and updated the design accordingly ;)
