SHOEMAKING FOR PERMANENT VACATION
THE PROCESS

The workshop where our footwear is manufactured is located in the small lanes of Paharganj, New Delhi. The first step is to place the patterns of the uppers on the fabric that is usually lined before with a fusing and a leather lining. Once marked and cut out, the little border called piping usually made of satin or gros grain ribbon will be stitched on the edge. A little glue is then added, and the border is folded over by hand.
