Birthday Party 🥳
Amelia celebrated her 10th birthday painting pottery at home with friends. It was especially lovely helping the girls and Amelia’s parents paint their own plates or money banks as I first met her when she was a baby nearly a decade ago to take her footprints 👣. I love my job!

Fête d’anniversaire 🎂
Amelia a fêté ses 10 ans avec un atelier de peinture sur céramique à la maison entourée de ses copines. C’était tout particulièrement chouette d’aider les filles et les parents d’Amelia à peindre leur propre assiette ou tirelire car j’ai rencontré Amelia il y a presque dix ans pour faire ses empreintes de pieds 👣 ! J’adore mon travail !

There are many aspects of my work that I love but one of the absolute highlights is taking baby prints of a whole family over the years. Over nine years ago I met Cynthia and her first child, Gabrielle and we started the tradition of making footprint door hangers. We have met up after the birth of each of her 3 little brothers, the last time 2 weeks ago to welcome baby James. It was so lovely to see the children again, capture sibling prints on a large plate as well as the traditional door hanger. Here are a few photos of some of the ceramics over the years!
