I don't know about you but I'm spending the last few days of 2025 trying to finish as many w-i-p's as possible!

I currently have 2 Gnomes (Gnoel and Gnandad), the Juleteppe blanket and Kalajoki socks on the needles - which to be fair is less than I had at the beginning of 2025!

The January 'Knitting 101' classes start on the 9th January - all you need for the classes is some chunky yarn (I use ) and needles for the size of your yarn (in my case that will be 10mm or US size 15).

It's a great class for complete beginners - small, so lots of opportunities to ask questions and get feedback. Plus it's recorded so you can go back and watch it again!

The aim of the class is to get you confident enough to start a small project, you'll also knit some easy fingerless mitts - perfect for cold weather and much quicker than a scarf!

If you have a non-knitter or knitting curious friend this class is a perfect introduction.
See the comments for the link 🥰

If knitting feels confusing, overwhelming, or “not for people like you”, this is for you!

I’m running a 3-week online Knitting 101 course designed especially for true beginners who:
🧶 Don’t know what needles or yarn to choose
🧶 Have tried before and given up (I did this a gazillion times before I found the right person to show me how)
🧶 Feel silly asking “basic” questions (been there!)

Because the group is small, there’s plenty of support and time for questions.
✨ Starts in one week
✨ Online over 3 weeks
✨ Very beginner-friendly

If you’ve been waiting for a calm, supportive way to finally learn, this is your sign.
