THE PRESENCE OF THE SHORT DRESS
Balenciaga. Supported by a taffeta petticoat, this flared-skirt dress is made of gathered white tulle. Scattered rhinestone motifs are repeated across both the skirt and the bodice, which is adorned with two white satin ribbon bows, one of them emphasizing the waist.
