Straight out of 1964… and in German. 🇩🇪🎸

This one is just too cool.

An original circa 1964 pre-CBS Fender “Fine Electric and Acoustic Instruments” catalog — entirely in German.

Seeing Jaguars, Jazzmasters, amps, keyboards and the whole Fender universe described in German more than 60 years ago feels almost surreal. Fender was already exporting the California dream all across Europe.

And check out the back: the original L. A. Rehbock dealer stamp from Emden, Germany is still there. Pure period history.

“The most imitated guitar in the world.”

They weren’t wrong. 😎

Another seriously cool piece of Fender history for The Real Deal Guitar Shop archive.

🍑Need a little more Vitamin C in your tone?

This vintage Orange Sustain is just the prescription.

Produced for only a brief period in the late 1970s, it’s one of the rarer Orange effects to surface today. Warm, musical compression in a pedal that’s become increasingly difficult to find.

No reissue. Just the real thing.

Another successful amp safari 🏴

And safaris can be quite exciting — especially when they don’t take you too far away from your holiday spot 🌊

I was incredibly happy to find this rare 1970 Marshall JMP Model 1961 50W Tremolo.

Much rarer than its famous 2x12 cousin, the Model 1961 features the original 4x10 configuration first supplied to Eric Clapton, before the legendary Model 1962 Bluesbreaker became the icon we all know.

This particular example still retains its original Drake transformers, basketweave grille and four Celestion 10-inch speakers. It has survived in remarkably good condition and, most importantly, it sounds absolutely incredible.

A beautiful and seriously rare piece of British amplifier history.

Thanks Fine and Vintage Musical Gear and The Music Locker for the advices.
