Creators of the world's smallest fridge, designed to keep your medication at a constant temperature wherever you may go!

When the world gets hotter, your medication should stay cold.
As heatwaves become the new normal across Europe, North America and beyond, millions of patients are now exposed to a hidden risk: temperature-sensitive medication breaking the cold chain between the pharmacy and home.
Insulins, biologics, fertility treatments, MS therapies, growth hormones, vaccines…These life-saving medicines are designed to live between 2–8°C — not in a hot car, not in a suitcase on a train platform, not in a sun-drenched apartment.
That’s exactly why we designed the iCool MediCube.
The MediCube is not a picnic cooler. It is a pharmaceutical-grade isothermal transport system, engineered to keep fragile medicines stable and safe even in extreme heat.
Behind it stands MedActiv — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of isothermal bags and cold-chain solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. For over a decade, MedActiv has been trusted by global pharma companies, hospitals and patient support programs to protect some of the most sensitive therapies on earth.
What makes the iCool MediCube different?
• High-performance thermal insulation• Medical-grade gel packs• Designed for repeated professional use• Compact, discreet, travel-ready• Built to survive real-world heat, not just lab conditions
From global pharmaceutical supply chains to individual patients traveling with their treatment, MedActiv brings industrial-grade cold-chain reliability into everyday life.
Because for someone relying on a temperature-sensitive therapy, cold is not comfort — it’s survival.

A few weeks ago, I received a message from a mother that I will never forget.
Her daughter, Emma, is 11 years old.
Like many children her age, Emma dreams of sleepovers with friends, school trips, summer camps, and family holidays. She loves drawing, swimming, and collecting seashells on the beach.
But Emma also lives with a condition that requires medication to be kept between 2 and 8°C at all times.
For years, every trip began with anxiety.
Would there be a refrigerator in the hotel room?
Would it be cold enough?
Would someone accidentally freeze the medication?
Would the medicine still be safe when they arrived?
The family became experts at planning every detail. Yet no amount of planning could remove the constant worry that accompanied every journey.
Then her mother discovered LifeinaBox.
The message she sent me was simple:
"For the first time, Emma doesn't feel different."
That sentence stopped me.
Because people often think that products like LifeinaBox are about temperature.
They are not.
Temperature is just the technical problem.
The real problem is freedom.
Freedom to say yes to a school trip.
Freedom to spend a weekend away without checking the hotel refrigerator.
Freedom to visit grandparents.
Freedom to travel.
Freedom to be a child.
LifeinaBox was designed to keep fragile medications safely between 2 and 8°C while travelling, at home, in a car, or in a hotel room. It is connected, portable, and small enough to fit into everyday life rather than forcing life to adapt to it.
But when I think about LifeinaBox, I don't think about cooling technology, batteries, or temperature sensors.
I think about Emma.
I think about an 11-year-old girl who can now pack for a trip with the same excitement as her friends.
No child should feel imprisoned by their medication.
No parent should have to spend a holiday worrying about a refrigerator.
Healthcare innovation is not measured by the technology we create.
It is measured by the moments of life we give back.
And sometimes, the greatest freedom in the world comes in a very small box.

Most medical devices are engineered.
Very few are designed.
And that difference changes everything.
Good engineering makes something work.Great design makes it belong in people’s lives.
Because patients don’t live in laboratories. They live in airports, taxis, hotel rooms, offices…and sometimes, in complete chaos.

When we created LifeinaBox,we didn’t start with technology.
We started with a question:
👉 What does it feel like to depend on a fragile medication… every single day?

So we obsessed over the details:
• The size — small enough to disappear into daily life• The silence — because medical devices shouldn’t announce themselves• The simplicity — because stress should never come from your treatment• The reliability — because “almost right” is not an option

Good design is not decoration.
It is an expectation.
It is the difference between a product people own…and a product people depend on.

Because in the end, the best medical device is the one patients forget is even there —while it quietly does its job, perfectly.

Beautiful view.
But if you travel with insulin, there’s always one question:
Is it still cool enough?
That’s exactly why we created the EasyBag Single.
A small bag.No electricity.Keeps insulin cool for up to 3 days.
Because medication should follow your life — not limit it. ❄️

Every fragile medication has a journey.

From the factory…
to the hospital…
to the patient.

But what happens in between matters.

Temperature fluctuations during transport can compromise biologics, vaccines, and specialty medicines — sometimes in ways that aren’t immediately visible.

Since 2008, MedActiv (www.medactiv.com) has been developing and manufacturing clinically validated isothermal transport bags trusted by pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Not just bags.
Protection.
Reliability.
Peace of mind.

Because when medicine travels safely, lives are protected.

My brother almost died because a hotel fridge froze his medication.

It wasn’t negligence.
It wasn’t irresponsibility.
It was simply a system that wasn’t designed for patients.

That moment changed my life.

When you depend on medication that must stay between 2–8°C, you don’t just manage a condition.

You manage risk.

Every trip.
Every hotel stay.
Every flight.
Every weekend away.

Insulin.
Biologics.
Fertility treatments.
Autoimmune therapies.
Growth hormones.

These medicines are extraordinary.

But they are fragile.

And fragility often steals something we take for granted:
Freedom.

That’s why I created LifeinaBox® — the world’s smallest portable medical refrigerator.

Not a cooler bag.
Not an ice pack.

A real, battery-powered fridge designed specifically for people who need their medication protected wherever life takes them.

Because patients deserve:

✔️ Independence
✔️ Confidence
✔️ Security
✔️ Spontaneity

LifeinaBox is not just about temperature control.

It’s about being able to say:

“Let’s go.”

If you or someone you love travels with temperature-sensitive medication, I would genuinely love to know:

What has been your biggest worry when traveling?

Your experiences are the reason we continue improving.
