The horticultural LED lighting market in 2024 has become complicated for customers.

They don’t know what to choose and don’t understand the technology and pricing.

To begin, you have to differentiate between 2 types of brands.

1 Real manufacturers who do research and development.

2 Imported white label Chinese products, most of which horticultural equipment wholesalers place their brands on.

How to differentiate them?

The first step is to see if they do research on the plants, if not it is an imported Chinese product.

The second step is the price.A low-priced product is often a sign of 100% Chinese components.
The manufacturer stipulates Samsung Osram LED chips and high luminous efficiencies while they are Chinese chips. Original components from Samsung and Osram can cost 6x more than a Chinese component.
