Well hello hello. I realise it’s been a wee while since I posted.

The Summer is zooming by so quickly isn’t it? Though I remember when the peeps were at Cults Primary and you were counting down the days till they were back! 😉

I’m still a busy bee as we sold our house last month so now in the search to find our new home in Edinburgh. I’m currently on the train to Edinburgh. 3rd time in 10 days to look at another flat. I’m not going to say anymore as I don’t want to jinx it.

It’s a very busy train and I notice there’s lots of lovely ladies from Rock Choir on it too music 🎶

So I have a wee bit time to myself and saw this on Facebook.I copied their info for you to read -

It’s Fortnum's Golden Bees Facade.
As part of Fortnum's continuing celebrations of 100 years of Disney Winnie the Pooh, you'll see shimmering golden bees flying out of their window displays and floating up across the facade of their famous Piccadilly store. Designed by British artist Paul Badham, this incredible installation features a golden bee for each of Pooh's 100 years, all of which were made using sustainably sourced materials chosen especially to glisten in the sunlight. Some of the bees will be auctioned off for charity this year in support of the BBKA - The British Beekeepers Association.

Bonjour mes ami.

Well it’s the start of the summer holidays so thought I’d share a gorgeous new French inspired deli and boutique that’s opened up in Milton of Crathes.

Maison Castanie 🇫🇷

Lovely Pat recommended it to me, so we duly drove along today to ‘suss it’ out as my in laws are up this weekend.

What a delightful spot with seating outside by the river. Delicious freshly filled baguettes, cakes and coffees.

Hello hello. Well what a week it’s been 🥵
Not that I’m complaining. Great to wear our summer dresses and sandals for more than 3 days in a row 😁

I met some of my shop girls for morning coffee today and lovely Pat’s Sister, Shirley, told us my Unique Boutique was in the P&J yesterday.

Even though I’ll forever hold Unit 12 in the Courtyard a very special place in my heart, it’s great to see someone else’s dream will come true in Cults 😍 🐝

Well here we are at Friday once again.

It’s all been happening as my home went up for sale this week. It all feels very surreal, nerve wracking and exciting in equal measures.

So I also thought I’d share a previous post as it’s Summer Soltice on Sunday. Though we are all busy bees bee 🐝 I for one look forward to long days and light nights, and all the warmth we can get in Bonnie Scotland.

Thought I’d share a wee flashback cupcake Friday. What jaunty japes we had 😁 I do miss them so 🧁

But I’m lucky enough to call Sarah from Little Fox Cupcakes a dear friend and we meet up for a doggie walk, cinema or recently lunch at her dear Mum, Judy’s house.

Judy is one of the most wonderful women I have met in my lifetime. Her ‘joie de vivre’ and fashion style is second to none 😍

You should see her wardrobe and her amazing collection of shoes and accessories. She’s a shoe size 2 and a half so I cannae borrow anything 😆

It’s a Friday night post with a difference tonight dears.

You know me, there’s always a story to tell, so I’ll try and keep it short and sweet 😉

My lovely mummy wore Muguet de Bois, Lily of the Valley perfume and I always loved the sweet fragrance. So when I got married in May, I was able to have this special little bell shaped flower, as it grows in Spring, for my bridesmaids bouquets.

Since then I’ve tried to grow it but it’s tricky in a new garden, but look what appeared last week!

So it seemed fitting to share this with you for my 28th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 30th May. Everyday I tell Grant what a lucky man he is 😂

I had the pleasure of the ever lovely Sarah from Little Fox Cupcakes by Sarah Thake, company on our jaunty jape to the cinema this week and we loved it! 😍

It’s partly set in Milan with the molto bello Duomo, and took me back to the 90’s and my buying trips to Milan for mainline DKNY and Prada window shopping. Them were the days. 😉

I even lost part of my molar whilst eating peanuts at a bar next to the Duomo and had to self medicate on Pinot Grigio and paracetamol for the rest of the week! 😆

Well, hello hello.

Sorry for my radio silence. I’ve been gutting out my garage and attic and it’s taken me weeks! I’ve kept memory boxes from over 30 years ago, going back to when I lived in Elgin in 1983!

It’s been such a wonderful trip down memory lane. I’ve been sharing old photos, letters and love letters to my friends from America to Australia!

So here’s my next Friday fashion tip which I will share with you. I’m just back from one night in Edinburgh seeing my wee Mummy and had a very successful shopping trip where I met Edward in Uniqlo. A handy go to for basic wardrobe staples ☺️

I purchased earlier, these beautiful soft leather ballerina pumps from Flipflop. They are the most perfect chocolate brown colour and so comfy too. Great to dress up or down. M&S, Zara and Wyse have them. They are so ‘in’ at the moment.

I’ve mixed and matched them with my basic Zara jeans and new Uniqlo tops. And dressed them up with cream wide leg cropped trousers and good old Saint Tropez chocolate brown top.
