Cosy season has arrived and we have some lovely gifts and decor for Autumn. Our Katie Loxton range is looking fab and I sold a few pieces today which speaks volumes.

Good evening folks, just to let you know that the objections for the parking restrictions proposal outside our shop have been extended until the end of August so if you haven’t had time or didn’t know about it the here’s the link below which will take you straight to where you can object. It will also show you a detailed map of the parking they intend to remove to make way for an island crossing.
Please support your local businesses by objecting and agreeing that their proposal is a very bad idea and will no doubt have a serious impact on us all.

Thank you to everyone who has objected already and who have been checking with us at the shop, we won’t hear anything from the council until all objections are in at the end of August.

You may have noticed recently many big boxes arriving at the shop and we thank you for you patience navigating our wee space while we work through them but believe me when I tell you there are some super exciting goodies coming this autumn… my favourite season, but let’s enjoy the summer sale for a wee while longer.

We’ve had a restock of our fave sweets, fudge and truffles which you all love so much.
I had a lovely customer say that we had such a great selection of sweets and fudge and that’s because they’re such a great wee gift.
Each one on their own is a lovely gift but so many of you will add a bag of fudge to a mug as a cosy little gift to lift someone’s spirits, or a bar of chocolate with a pair of socks or with a notebook or scarf as a letterbox gift, just the right size to fit through a letterbox to brighten someone’s day so if you’re ever looking for a wee treat to give then think about one of our luxury treats to make someone smile 😃

One of my lovely customers popped in today for a card for her mother’s birthday. Our age cards go all the way up to 100 but she had a special request for an amazing 105, she knew we had the solution with our age sticker “et violà” a personalised birthday card for a very special lady.
We wish her a wonderful birthday celebration on her special day 🎉
