Looking forward to trading at the beautiful Blair Atholl Castle this coming weekend.

Last year was strange weather but hopefully according to the weather forecast, we are going to have a sunny weekend. 🌞

So, the Atholl Highlanders will be parading tomorrow at 2.30pm and the Highland Gathering, on Sunday. Come along and enjoy the activities and looking at the Trade Stands.

Real by Russ will be trading on Stand 12, find us as usual by the Flag. We hope you come and say hello and make our day more enjoyable.

After a wet day last Sunday, we are hoping that the Atholl Gathering and Highland Games are beautiful, sunny and warm this weekend. 🌞

We will let you all know which our Trade Stand number and location later on this week and hope that you will come and say hello. Our flag will be flying as usual so finding Real by Russ wont be difficult. 😁

So lets hope it is a good Atholl Highlanders Parade on Saturday 23rd and a great Highland Games on the Sunday 24th May 2026.

The ‘Real by Russ’ season 2026 of Highland Games and Pipe Band Championships, begins this Sunday 17th May, at Gordon Castle, Focabers, Moray.

This venue is a new one for us and hopefully, will become a regular event. Please see the map below - we will be on Stand 3 next to the Country Sports Arena, our flag will be flying so come and say hello!! 😁

There are some new items made from Antler and Ram’s Horn this year alongside the Sticks, Sgian Dubh’s with Damascus or Wood Blades, Kilt Pins, Keyring’s etc🐏 🫎

So, come along and enjoy the day and dont forget to say hello!!😜

Hopefully you are all well and enjoying the cold but dry weather. 😁🌞

This years diary is now coming together and just waiting for the Highland Games Organisers, to confirm our stand space at the end of the season. Will update as we go through the summer.

Thought you might like to see our new range of Sgian Dubh’s with a Rams Horn handle and Damascus blade. 🤠 They will be available at the Highland Games - diary in the process of being finalised. 🗓️

They are priced at £120 (same as the Antler with a Damascus Blade) so making a choice of which one to buy, may be even more difficult!
Every Sgian Dubh comes with a leather sheath to protect the blade (and yourself) and then in a special gift cloth bag.

The photos below show Rams Horn Handled topped with Burr Elm. The shaped handle and Burr Elm was made to resemble a Thistle!

Happy New Year to you all - bit late but things have been busy in the workshop!!

***NEW YEAR, NEW LINES***

Our new range for 2026 includes, as you can see from the photos, Cuff Links and Tie Clips. 😁 They have been made from Antler, Rams Horn and Wood - hope you like them! 🙂

The Cuff Links are priced at £25, boxed and the Cuff Links and Tie Clips set are priced at £35.

We will be selling them at the Highland Games this year along with our usual items. Our diary of Games and Events will be published when we have finalised the dates. There are some new Highland Games venues this year and look forward to seeing you in the summer.
