Burgers aren't just for the summer! 🍔

Got some friends coming over, not sure what to cook?
Get some burgers on (in Adam's opinion the ultimate party grub) and grab a bottle of Malcriat, a refreshing red from Valencia with great acidity that will help cut through all those burger related sauces.
Notes of red cherry and hints of rose petals are there to help wash down probably one to many burgers. Combinations like this are proof that w**e pairing doesn’t always need white tablecloths and tiny portions.

is the perfect way to start the 'ber' months!

Our Septemebr w**e of the month is 100% Mencia hailing from D.O. Ribera Sacra the area of Galicia that is domintated by red grapes, specifically Mencia.

A fruity and very aromatic example of the reds of the area, this w**e is packed full of dark bramble fruits, with delicate hits of balck pepper and a earthy herby note of thyme running through.

As those nights draw in and the red w**e cabinet gets dusted off, this is the one to ease us into those heavier big hitting reds.

The sun may be hiding a little but those warm evenings are still here. We've been asked a lot about red w**es that can be chilled before service?

With bank holiday weekend coming up we've asked Adam to select a couple of his favourites at the moment.

🍷 **emaker Giro - a lovely light and refreshing red packed full of fresh red and black fruits. Think Ribena.

🍷 VA! - a tempranillo from Rioja but lighter in body with balances tannins and bags of dark fruits.

🍷 Trepat - a grape that is used in Rose cava production this refreshing number hits with fresh raspberry and zippy blood orange acidity.

🍷 Parajes del Cabriel - ripe red cherries, soft liquorice make this medium bodied w**e the perfect bbq meats accompaniment.

🍷 Mencia - Wild red bramble fruits and herbal earthy notes make this the perfect chilled w**e candidate, think of this as Spain's answer to Pinot Noir

Rose isnt just for the summer but it definitely hits a little different when the sun is shining. ☀️

Our w**e of the month is il.lusionat rosado, made using a blend of Tempranillo and Marselàn from the Valencia region makes this w**e perfect for whats left of the summer and beyond. Juicy fresh strawberries and raspberries with a soft floral note make this a real taste of the mediterranean!

July has been hot and we have the perfect antidote to help with that beating sun! 🍑 🌞 🍐

are a very recognisable name in the D.O Rueda region and this Cuarenta Vendimias is a true showcase of the native grape varietal Verdejo.

This is a cracker for bbq and picnic season. Fresh green apple, white peach and touches of grapefruit alongside that usual subtle fennel note. Five months of lees aging gives this w**e some body that means it will hold up against those spicy chicken skewers and any salad!
