Well here we go it’s the September harvest fair and tonight’s theme for Fern&Green is not quite Ferns but definitely GREEN💚. It’s all about using any type of pot, vase or bread bin to bring Mother Nature into your home and show off your plants and other natural pieces for example beautiful dried branches laden with moss, bring in fabulous colours and textures this Autumn. There’s more to come too in the next post with a few surprise pieces that you may not think would look good with a plant in them!

I was taking my photos this afternoon for the and when pulling together the theme I was able to use this stunning hydrangea as a prop from my garden!

I love this flower/plant, I bought it half price from a well known posh supermarket l, the flowers were white and half dead and I bought it back to life, it’s slowly changed the white flowers to these stunning green ones with a hint of pink in them!

I’m not the traditional flower lover so these colours are absolutely my favourite! 💚🪴

Hey good morning all, hope you're all having a lovely week so far.

My collection today with is all about Spring, my favourite season. 💚

The clocks have gone forward, my favourite beautiful tulips are in season, copious amounts of chocolate on hand for Easter and it's my birthday month and I'm going to celebrate as much as possible as it's a big one!

Hey all, I hope you all stayed safe from Eunice, that was one angry storm!

FOR SALE - beautiful dark navy occasional chair

When I saw it I imagined it to be the perfect telephone chair, sat in the hall next to the phone on the wall that only had a cable long enough to reach the bottom stair! Now I’m showing my age and most of you probably relate.

Hopefully it will find its forever home as it’s a beauty, I love love love the dark navy and the seat pad pattern lends itself to fitting into many a different coloured room, it’s the perfect chair for the extra guest that comes to dinner or the chair robe in the bedroom but then that would mean possibly not seeing the amazing seat pad for a while! 😉🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

I do love a good coffee and these green coffee cups are the perfect size for one after dinner when your mates have come round for supper and you could have the after dinner chocs hidden ready in this super cute sandwich tin! All served on the chunky wooden tray!

Bread bin, books and boards!

The bread bin is in such amazing condition, with just the perfect amount of battered corners! And ready for the sourdough! 🤣or just to look fab-u-lous as a kitchen prop!!
A stack of green books, adds height to your propping and great for the books shelf adding in the perfect amount of vintage greeness!
And the washboards, well who doesn’t love a washboard. These have so many uses, I’ve one on my dining table as a mat for my plants and another is going to be a shelf in the bathroom above the sink. A perfect toothbrush stand!
