This is a small selection of my Handmade stretch bracelets. I will add more styles and Stone types later.
It is my aim to add information about different Gemstones there meaning and where in the world the Stone is sourced.
For context these are made with 8mm Beads and various Hematite or Stainless Steel Spacer Beads.
Many people I speak to have issues with the Elastic either perishing, snapping or coming undone. I use a super stretch Korean Elastic it is by far a more superior elastic, it has better knotting ability and is long lasting. Many of my returning customers inform me that their bracelet is still wearing well after several years.
Stones are also important. Many people do not realise that stones are not always natural. I have used the same supplier for approx 5 years, my reasons are that I can select the stone grade, the country of origin and whether its dyed, heated, assembled or imitation. I choose to use natural stones that are undyed, unheated, untreated. This I will speak about in another post.
Thank you to all those people that have brought items from me, to those that I have had the privilege of making bespoke items for. It is important to have the right size on your wrists and often whilst doing craft fairs I re-string bracelets for customer perfect fit. Lastly just to say the pictures do not do them justice, sunny days on market stalls really do bring out the beauty of them.
