Based in Nurmes, Finland Sasta have a highly respected history of producing some of the best outdoor clothing in the market. Commonly known as ‘the Finnish Fjallraven’ their clothing is every part as reliable and high integrity as their Scandinavian counterparts to the West.

Items are hard to find, but for core users looking for brands that are lesser known but glowing in reputation, Sasta are highly recommended.

Jeneson Brukte Klær regularly source and import the best clothing and equipment from the Nordic countries, giving the UK market a chance to own the best items at far lower prices before committing to full price purchases once having developed a bond with the brands.

Batch 003 of our Norge Outdoor Wax will be on sale this evening after a few months of beeswax shortages…

Comprising what we believe to be the first hard/soft waxing system (hold for the industry to copy us) customers receive two 80-90g blocks:

Hard: for knees / shoulders / elbows and other high abrasion areas. Two to three application and melts.

Soft: for high movement areas; hood folds, backs of knees, back panels etc. One to two applications and melts.

This is an age old tradition in Scandinavian outdoor life, no one can claim its invention or intellectual property. It’s a bit like trying to put a trademark on gravy. But we can say we believe we’re the first to combine two grades into one product.

Stock is limited so keep an eye out this evening and tomorrow morning to snap up a pack.

We are a small, independent business based in the Scottish Highlands, sourcing and importing the best of the Scandinavian clothing and equipment brands.

We sell new and used items to customers all over the UK, and have expanded into a now growing custom section, one of the biggest collections of premium used rucksacks online, and hope to see the first branded designs make their way to testing next year.

Why are we doing this?

Because we think the UK outdoor retail sector has probably now peaked. Financials aside, it’s beginning to feel like the end of an era. You used to sense the mountains in outdoor shops, with many staff being guides or climbers themselves. There’s a reshaping coming and an opportunity for new growth in the hands of an upcoming generation that really do think differently.
