Prize Winners

Pictured below are the 2 prize winners from our recent fishing event held in conjunction with the Northumbrian Anglers Federation. This was a great success with around 230 people attending including about 45 juniors.

William Thompson (14) won the junior draw receiving a Greys rod, reel and line combo. This will come in very useful as he has just recently taken up fly fishing.🙂

Robin Sutton won the adult draw receiving a Hardy Aydon Switch rod and Averon reel, a perfect outfit for Salmon and Sea Trout fishing on the local river Coquet. 👍

Aln Angling Association 2026

Aln Angling Association 2026 permits are now available to purchase in the Hardy store, Alnwick.

Prices remain unchanged from 2025 and with daily, weekly and annual permits available there is a an option for everyone.

Salmon season opens on the 1st of February.
Brown Trout season opens on the 22nd of March.
Sea Trout season opens on the 3rd of April.

Please note that permits must be bought with cash. This is because we are selling tickets on behalf of the AAA and purchases do not go through our shop till system.
