“I’m going through changes…” - Black Sabbath

Today truly did mark the end of an era, the doors of Live Louder are now closed for good. Live Louder was so much more than just a business to Dan, and to every one of you that have shown so much love and support - today really made this clear to me. The entire day there was such a buzz of energy in the room, it really was the best send off we could have given to Dan’s business. It was so lovely to have everyone come together to celebrate Dan and what he created. I want to thank each and every one of you for making such an incredibly sad day into something so beautiful ❤️

Today will be a very difficult day for us all, saying goodbye to the business Dan poured his heart and soul into. Hopefully, we can also use today to celebrate Dan and what an amazing achievement Live Louder is - he created something so unique. Live Louder really was a piece of Dan. Only he could have made something this incredible ❤️

The wonderful Erica .alt translated the Ibanez Tree of Life onto my nails for me today. Dan used to love when I’d get my nails done and we’d have fun matching them to the guitars in the shop. I thought it was only right to match with his favourite guitars for his shop’s final day 🖤

Just gone through the shop camera’s memory card and wanted to share some of these wonderful photos of Dan. We loved having fun and joking around at work 😅. It’s so nice just seeing him doing every day tasks 💔

Hi there, this is Scarlett from Live Louder! Thank you all so much for all your support on our previous post! Please read on for a bit of an update about Live Louder’s Instagram ❤️

Live Louder means a lot to me - as the Assistant Manager but also Dan’s step-daughter, I know how hard he worked to have the business be so successful. I’ve also always been very proud to work for Live Louder as it feels like such a haven for metalheads. I’ve always loved staring at the guitars on the wall and hearing some of the amazing customers shredding to test out the guitars!

Dan of course was a metalhead himself and so am I, that’s what made Live Louder so special. It was a business for metalheads, run by metalheads. For this reason, and also the connection it has to Dan, I don’t want to fully let Live Louder go. So, after the 31st, when the business fully closes down, I will be continuing to post on this account, sharing all things rock and metal to keep all of this alive!

I hope that through this I can create a space where the love of rock and metal can continue to be shared and keep Dan’s legacy alive. I hope you will stick around for the ride so that we can all continue to live louder🤘
