Tried my hand using alcohol based ink on a small tile before attempting something bigger which will become wall art. Might attempt a bit more of a landscape next time. Any constructive feedback/suggestions/thoughts for future efforts? Xx

5 drawer chest painted in pale pink (Annie Sloan Antoinette) with every alternate drawer decoupaged in a blue/hearts multi design. Pictures don't do it justice. Maybe need to learn how to use a camera!

2. Paint in Annie Sloan white paint
3. Forget all about it
4. Buy some fabric in a random shop whilst on a trip to Dunoon in May
5. Get engrossed in other things, and forget about it
6. Find the fabric hidden under something else ... Oops!
7. Finally recover the seat and make the chair 'well funky'
8. Unsuccessfully try to justify keeping it for the side of my bed, or my dressing table, or the desk in the spare room, but remember I've already got too many........

4. Over-distress and completely make a mess of the project
5. Start again, sand down then repeat steps 1-3 very, very carefully
6. Accessorise and take some photos

4. Voila! A unique garden table
5. Paint 2 chairs the colour of the greenest grass in Annie Sloan chalk paint
6. Slightly age and distress said chairs
7. Position beside new table
8. Add some accessories
9. Stand back and admire

Big News! White Dungarees upcycled furniture is going to be available from All Things Fair's super improved new larger premises at 52 High Street, Blairgowrie. The grand opening is on Monday 30th June. I hope to be there first thing and at close of play. Come along and support Anna in her 'big flit' up her High Street. Anna's new premises will allow her to display her beautiful range of furniture as well as selling on behalf of local artists including my good self.
