Momentum Pottery Maria Nordgren started Momentum Pottery after arriving in Scotland 2006. She makes functional, mainly thrown porcelain and stoneware pots.

The porcelain is fired in a gas or electric kiln and the stoneware is wood fired.

Welcoming back Maria Nordgren of Momentum Pottery another longstanding member of Perthshire Open Studios.

Visit Marias studio in Alyth for a chance to grab some clay to make your own unique creation or decorate a ready-made piece with raku glaze, and see it being fired!

There will be Raku firings 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm.

All are welcome to take part or just watch the fun!
